Friday Chit Chat: Beat Dry Skin


Although winter is almost over (thank god), my sister and I always naturally have dry chaffed skin. This year, we decided to experiment with some natural remedies and came across this smoothie recipe that is fantastic! I've had it about four times in the past two weeks, and I feel a huge difference with my skin. The ingredients are:

  • 1/2 cup plain coconut water
  • 2 frozen ripe bananas, previously peeled & sliced
  • 1 cup chopped pineapple 
  • 1 cup chopped mango
  • 2 cups spinach or kale
  • 1/2 avocado, sliced

I like to add chia seeds to it, but it's completely optional! Blend all of the ingredients until creamy, and viola! Try it out and let us know how you like it!
